Lafayette, LA – On June 8, members of the Acadiana business community gathered as the newly-formed Asian Chamber of Commerce of Acadiana (ACCA) hosted its inaugural meet and greet.
Announced at the event, Attorney Hoai Hoang of Voorhies and Labbé will serve as President of the organization. In addition to President Hoai Hoang, ACCA leadership is comprised of Li Pham as President-Elect, Kim Mai Pham as Treasurer, Brad Hoang as Secretary, and Tharisone Phachansitthi as Marketing Director/Public Relations. Board members announced include Peter Pham, Loan Doan, and Troy Hebert.
ACCA President Hoai Hoang remarked, "We were thrilled with the interest and diversity of turnout at our first event. We look forward to working with not only our new members but also with 1A and other local chambers in an effort to further promote our Asian business and professional leaders and the Asian community as a whole."
Jason El Koubi, President and CEO of One Acadiana (1A), shared remarks at the networking event. “1A encourages the ACCA’s business leadership,” El Koubi said, “and looks forward to building strong connections with their membership while working with them as partners in the 1A network.”
Covering the nine parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion, the ACCA’s mission is to provide business, social, and professional members of ACCA a voice in the community while maximizing business opportunities, professional services, and business development.
